British Snowmen

Remember how we were sorta snickering behind our hands at the British reaction to the snow a few weeks ago? OK, maybe we were outright laughing, but we were also willing to admit that something is a big deal when it doesn't happen for 15 years.

Anyway, we were in London the weekend after that Monday snow storm and took some photos of a fantastic sight- a huge, green park field littered with great, big, dirty snowballs. And that was all. While we assumed they were the remnants of snowmen, our friends who lived there said that they never really got much beyond the first ball stage. Not sure what that says about British stick-to-it-iveness or arm strength or even memory, but the twenty or so snowballs that remained were certainly a sight.
