So after about 45 hours of transit, a couple hours spent in the Singapore airport and watching alot of movies, we made it. It was, all in all, a series of uneventful flights (just what one wants on Sept 11) and we are both happy and sad to be here. It is such a relief to be back in an enviroment we know quite well but at the same time we are sad to have such a unique time in our life completed.
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that we are back and things are good. We will be working on more posts as the days roll by (in between dealing with unpacking and repacking for life to come), some post trip thought, some pictures and videos that never made it up before, and some thoughts on what will happen to this blog going out from here. Hope all is well!

Well I am sad that this part of your life is over, but glad to have you back too.
And of course when I say "glad to have you back" I mean "where the heck are you?"
And you'll be leaving to another country soon anyway, so it's not like we (the US) get to keep you for very long.
Wonderful! Glad you made it back safely. Now if only we could sit down together for a looooong dinner to talk ... perhaps a long email soon, at least. Hope you're both very well.
Oh yeah, guess I should specify eh? We are presently in Zeeland Michigan attempting to deal with our bagage, emotional or otherwise... and so we'd love to see you... all of you... whoever you are.
We're glad that you're back too, and are looking forward to seeing you when you venture out east!
