Oh, the luxury!

So you may think we are still mid-India from our most recent posts. But, in fact, these posts are a massive game of catch-up and we are really in... duh-tuh-duh... Singapore! Yup, we visited the Ajanta Caves (posted today, as well), then headed to Bangalore and the Andaman Islands (in India, but closer to Myanmar/Burma than anywhere else) for two weeks total, of which we will post on later.

This morning we flew from Port Blair west to Chennai and then east again to Singapore. And wow. This airport is something else. Would you like to watch a movie? Go find the movie lounge! Wanna sleep on a real bed without going through customs? Head for the transit hotel! Food? No problem; they're open 24 hours! Shopping? From expensive name brands (duty free!) to 7-11, it's all here! I think everyone should fly straight from a confusing Indian airport to Singapore Changi- it makes it all the more impressive! We fly tomorrow morning from here to Tokyo (7 hours) and then to Detroit (11.5 hours) to Grand Rapids, Michigan (1 hour). So keep your eyes peeled- we'll wave!
