I am so glad that bird is able to help out and keep that tower up. I remember that our whole family was very convinced that it would fall VERY soon when we were there - 19 years ago...

Thanks for the postcard! Both this one and the last one:) The kids think it is pretty cool to have read the card before they get it!!! They were also glad to see bird again:)
I do remember that we were convinced it was going to fall down. I also thought they weren't allowing people up, but they did some stabalizing in the 90's and you can pay to go up it now again.
Also have a funny photo of bird in Florence blocking a particular body part of a large, naked David!
