Sorry for the lag of posts as of late folks. We are finally feeling a little more setteled down (despite still being jobless and homeless) but there has been so many things to do as of late, portfolios to print (and endless fuss over), resumes to write, (and rewrite), and the glorious phone calls to potiental employers (I can think of little I like more than those).

Oops. That cathedral interior is Bayeux, not Chartres. The Chartres cathedral is considered one of France's finest examples of gothic architecture, while the cathedral in this photo is very, very Romanesque. For example, if you visited Durham's cathdral, you probably remember the large, round pillars and round (rather than pointed) arches adjoining them, both covered with geometric designs. You can see very similar surface decoration in the photo of Bayeaux's cathedral.
