Funny Photo Friday: lessons in language

When this sign showed up on our street, I was a little irritated that some home owner would be so vain as to think that cars would bypass the prime parking available at their front stoop without a good explanation. Are you moving? Is there construction work to be done? Give me one good reason to skip your spot.

The next day, a dumpster showed up in front of the house. I forgot that a dumpster is called a 'skip' in these parts. I guess that's a good reason...
